Associate Katie--Stephen and Ruth Ann are married!

Stephen and Ruth Ann were married in October, on one of those days it kept threatening to rain, but never did--thank goodness! This wedding was an extra special one for me. Not only did I have the privilege of hanging out with one of the sweetest couples I've ever met (seriously, you'll see in the photos), but Ruth Ann is my former pastor's daughter and the wedding was at the church I grew up in. Ruth Ann and Stephen's energy was infectious and, by the end of the day, we were all singing along with Stephen's show tunes (Sound of Music, right? =]). All in all, it was a beautiful wedding full of fall color, friends and family, and a wonderful couple.

I honestly believe that they would have danced all day if I hadn't stopped them--so cute!

Jessica and Dean, Grand Rapids Wedding

Jessica and Dean were married on a beautiful spring day in downtown Grand Rapids. I had such a great time getting to know these two, we spent an extraordinary day shooting their engagement session in Fremont, over the winter. You can see a few photos from their winter wonderland engagement session here. It was a freezing day but these two made the day feel warm and fun, we even took a lunch break and dined at one of their favorite local pizza joints, Spanky's :) if you find yourself in Fremont stop in for pizza, so yummy. I've probably said this a million times but I can't stress enough the importance of doing an engagement session, not only do you get to hang out with you best friend and soul mate, but I get to bond with my couples. We shared so much about our families, our relationships, funny stories, I felt like not only their photographer but their friend. When it came to the wedding day there was so much trust, they really could enjoy their day to it's fullest laughing and tears, with me camera and all snapping away.

Such a beautiful and emotional first moment

This image is true testimony to the myth of the "first sight". Many couples are choosing to see each other before the ceremony because it allows a more flexible schedule for photos without keeping your guests waiting at the reception for a long time. A common myth is that your groom won't be as emotional when you walk down the aisle if you see each other before the ceremony. To all those "manly men" out there, coming from a women there is no shame in crying as you see your beautiful bride walking down that aisle, and Dean got really choked up, not only in there first moment but as she walked down the aisle. This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding!!

I just have to tell all of you how truly sorry I am. Every year I vow to blog more, and I swear every year I get worse at it....yikes :(. So if you are still with me and still reading all I can say is THANK YOU! Please stick with me because I am going to really really try to do better. Thank you to my new addition Allison (you'll learn more about here later). Because of her I finally have some blog posts to publish. You would be very surprised to know how time consuming putting together a blog post can be, I couldn't do it without my girls so shout out to Katie and Allison.

So without further ado, here is my first wedding of the season...yes I just said first wedding of the season. I am fully aware that the 2011 wedding season is now over and I am just now blogging my first wedding so everyone get a good chuckle at how behind my blog is and then enjoy some beautiful moments from Liza and Dathans' beautiful May wedding. You may remember Liza and Dathan from there superbly awesome engagement session in a theater. These two are incredibly talented musicians, music was definitely a wonderful highlight of the day. They had an elegant cereomony at the Mayflower Congregational Church in East Grand Rapids and a equally elegant reception at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Going through these photos again...since it been almost 6 months, brings back so many wonderful memories. I hope they find the same sentiment that I do!

On July 30 (yes, I am incredibly behind on blogging), my cousin Joanna and her new husband Tom were married in incredibly beautiful--and incredibly hot--Little Rock, Arkansas. Joanna and Tom were married in an old plantation house, full of southern class. Thanks for letting me photograph your day!

The night before the wedding, Joanna had a run through for her hair and make up and she and her sisters and I did some quick photos at the plantation. Isn't she gorgeous?

Shortly after they were married here in the states they whisked off to Germany where Kyle is a professional basketball player. Another beautiful wedding and beautiful couple. Over the Memorial weekend Jessica and Dean were wed in a lovely ceremony at the First Park Congregational Church in downtown Grand Rapids, and a gorgeous reception at Egypt Valley Country Club.

Over this past Christmas season I had the delight in meeting these two for a fabulous winter engagement session . We were lucky enough to not only have a sweet secret spot for photos but also those perfect fluffy winter snow flakes. You two toughed it out big time, it was sooooo cold, but we had such an amazing afternoon and it has been such a pleasure meeting you both and documenting this special time of your life.

So excited to finally kick off the 2011 wedding season. on May 22, Dathan and Liza were married in a beautiful wedding at the Mayflower church in East Grand Rapids. Here's a little sneak peek from the day!

I had such a pleasure getting to know these two during their engagement session from late fall last year. These two are incredibly talented musicians, so it was very fitting to do their session on stage at the Calvin College theater. These two were so fun, we had an awesome session with a fall bike ride, dancing on stage in the theater, a personal violin concert, and so much more. To celebrate their new nuptials here are some of there amazing engagement pictures.

How to get to the studio:

Take Hall St. exit west off of 131. Take Hall St. through Grandville St., go down and around the sharp curve/hill. Go straight throught he light at the Hall/Godfrey intersection. DON'T turn onto Godfrey. Park in the dirt lot on the right behind the first large red brick building. Go into the door next to the loading dock overhead doors. Walk straight and pass the vending machines to the elevator or stairs. Take the stairway or the elevator to the 4th floor. Once at the 4th floor, take a left and go until the hall comes to a "T." Take a right at the "T" and find the blue door. Yep, it's complicated but we will have signs and people to help you if you get stuck, or please call Phrene at 616-322-3093. FYI, it's an old urban factory, but I promise our studio is gorgeous inside ;)

I was so excited to find Becky and Devins' July wedding featured in this year's issue of the Kalamazoo Bride Magazine. This isn't their first blog appearance, you may recognize them from their sexy and chic engagement session downtown last fall. Becky and Devin had a beautiful wedding, they exchanged vows overlooking Gull Lake on a beautiful July day and wrapped up the evening with a gorgeous tented reception at the Kellogg Manor, which is an incredibly gorgeous venue for those brides out there looking for an elegant and sophisticated venue.

I've said this before, but only because I really truly mean it, Kalamazoo Bride Magazine is a wonderful resource for brides looking for local venues and vendors in southwest Michigan, seriously I found this magazine a HUGE help when I was planning my wedding...which is starting to fee like eons ago :) I give them to all my Kalamazoo area brides and they've all told me it was a huge help. You can find them in any local Barnes and Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, their website, and of course me ;)

Megan and Sam are engaged!

I'm thrilled to finally share some images from Megan and Sam's engagement session this fall. We had such a beautiful fall afternoon wandering around the Michigan State campus with their pup! Now that I'm a proud puppy mommy too I have such fun including them in our sessions, they add such spunk and laughter. Megan and Sam were so delightful to shoot, we have fun just walking around campus, finding gorgeous light, beautiful colors, and just hanging out like we were old friends. Thank you to you both for a beautiful session!

Maria booked with me via email and we didn't have the chance to meet and get to know each other better prior to our shoot but as soon as we started shooting it felt like old friends! I've been so excited to finally get this session posted. It's not everyday that I have the chance to get out of Michigan and shoot somewhere new, especially not in my favorite city Chicago. I grew up in Chicago, and had always planned to move back after college to start my career, obviously God had different plans and with no complaints. I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams, here I have found my husband and home. I proudly call Grand Rapids my home but sometimes I miss my favorite city, so when Erika and Scott tossed out the idea of doing their engagement session there, I jumped at the chance to head back and shoot. We stopped and some of the best spots in the city...though I forgot about the awesome afternoon Chicago traffic...let's just say I was a little late for our session. Thank goodness Erika and Scott were so understanding, plus extra bonus...we had a chance to see the city at night and shoot a few night time pics against the night skyline.

If you know me you know that I am TERRIFIED of spiders, (Kurt can tell you some funny and embarrassing stories about my phobia) I wouldn't have gone near this fence but thankfully Erika and Scott are way cooler then me because these spider webs looked pretty sweet with the light shining through from behind.

Suzi and Tanya trash the dress

Over this last summer I had such a fun time shooting Suzi and her sister, Tanya, for an urban trash the dress session. Suzi was one of my past brides who was married back in January. Though her wedding was beautiful, the weather was certainly not ideal for outdoor portraits so I was really excited when she not only contacted me to put her dress on again, but decided to come back from Arizona with her sister to do it with me! It was a big bonus that they brought a ton of props and accessories and told me I had free reign. These girls are such troopers, the day of our shoot it was 95 degrees on the fourth floor of my warehouse studio with no air...holy hot!! We had so much fun, it gives me to itch to do this more! Thank you so much girls for giving me the chance to do something so different and for being such great models, seriously these girls worked it out .. and it doesn't hurt that they're gorgeous! :)

*** side note**** though Suzi and Tanya were both up for trashing their dresses... (because they are awesome) both girls chose to wear their mother's wedding dress for a few photos and we did NOT trash that dress. It is possible to do a really fun trash the dress session WITHOUT actually trashing any dresses...just in case you would like to try this but really want to keep your dress :)

Oct 2, Brooke and Matt married in Holland

Brook had a surprise Zumba dance for their guest, Matt was a good sport and jumped in....Let's just say he got an "A" for effort ;)

October 16, Katie and Joe were married in Grand Rapids amidst the gorgeous fall color backdrop with an awesome reception at Stonewater Country Club

Oct 10, Kathy and Ely had a beautiful, heartfelt, and intimate ceremony at the Bay Pointe Inn with a summer-like fall day of 70 degrees and gorgeous blue skies.

They had an adorable candy buffet with candy favorites from each member of the family, Kathy, Ely, and their three precious children Bella, Sloane, and Nolan.

Then we went out to a field for sunset, eeeeeeekkk, when a bride says..."sure Phrené, whatever you want to do, I trust you" ... I get so giddy.

Oct 23, Reneé and Tony were married up north at a fabulous Michigan destination spot, The Homestead Resort. The fall colors were INCREDIBLE, and despite the crazy Michigan weather it was a gorgeous wedding.

Reneé had so many beautiful details, some of which were heirlooms her grandmother wore at her wedding.

This was quite the exciting party, I just had to include a few moments.

Wedding Sneak Peek Marathon!

Today I have a BIG blog post, YAY! Why you ask...cause I've been a busy girl photographing some pretty cool people. I think I've covered the entire state plus some in the last month, it's been crazy, fun, ... humbling. This time I decided to post a bit more eye candy then normal, too too much to choose from..I have the most beautiful brides!

Gina and Peter were married on the east side of the state in August. Gina and Peter have incredible hearts for God, their joy and kindness is contagious. Peter is beginning his new position as a pastor in the church where they were married. Having grown up as a pastor's kid, I know that it is both a difficult yet rewarding job, I pray for your ministry in the church and your journey together. May God blesses you both so much, it is so obvious to see that you both have been a blessing to so many others in your life.

Gina was a radiant bride, she looked so lovely and elegant.These two were all smiles, really really big smiles all day. Real smiles, real joy, real love.

Trisha and Damion were married in a gorgeous ceremony on private family property in Marne. These two are a seriously hot couple. Trisha, you are so beautiful, I got goosebumps when I saw this on the back of my camera...Damion you looked great too but seriously she looked amazing. I know Damion and Trisha from my gym. I was so incredibly flattered when they booked ME! I am flattered always when couples choose me, but these two only know me from the gym and when I come to the gym I am a hot mess... I'm sweaty, stinky, sporting my really unattractive fashion violation sweat pants with no makeup on and my just rolled out of bed look. I know I'm there to work out not to do a fashion show but seriously I look gross. Unbeknownst to me, Kurt (my husband) was advertising for me...thanks babe...to Damion shortly after they got engaged. The next time I came in to work out Damion told me they loved my work and that Trisha was excited to book me. I though REALLY, you see me right? in all my unhottness. You guys are a gorgeous couple, I knew this was going to be a super fabulous wedding with a super hot and fabulous couple...and you trusted me...in all my gym ickiness to make super hot and fabulous pictures. Congrats to you both! I am so happy for you, and so grateful to have been a part of it.

Damion, all I can say about this ring is dang! That is some serious bling.

Jodi and Ryan were married at Weller's Carriage house in Saline, MI. This was my second time out there so it was great to visit again and see everything in a new way, with a new couple. Last time I was there the weather didn't fair so well, this time we hit the jackpot! Jodi and Ryan were fabulous for many reasons, one reason was because they gave me the BEST time of day to do pictures...right before sunset. My heart melts when I have the chance to shoot during my favorite time of day. It's not often that a wedding schedule works out to have private couple time during sunset so, yes, I am a photographer nerd and I get excited about things like sunsets and sun flares... don't hate...it's because I really love what I do. Thank you Jodi and Ryan for including me in a perfect day for a perfect couple.

Here's a fun tip, if you are looking for a good way to sas up your wedding dress shot, try getting a sweet hanger like this photo below, Jodi found this on Etsy. If you know me you know I super anal (yes I just said anal on my blog...deal) about having a nice hanger for the dress shot. You didn't spend thousands of dollars on a gorgeous dress to have a lifelong lasting photograph of it with a tacky plastic hanger. I'm not hating on anyone out there whose done those photos, I've shot with the tacky hanger before...I just think it looks better with a nice hanger and photos last forever, I've said my piece, exit soap box now.

And how amazing does Jodi look here, seriously gorgeous!

Beth and Chad are another super fabulous hot couple who had had a really cool, chic and contemporary downtown Grand Rapids with the ceremony at Rosa Park Circle and the reception at McFaddens, check out Beth's sweet dress! I love a bride that steps outside of the box and I commend you for trekking around downtown with me...hyper speed...in those crazy awesome neck breaking heels. I also had the pleasure of working with Elé3 Events which made things flow so smooth, on schedule...they rehydrated me when I thought I was going to pass out in this summer's crazy heat (thanks so much Kate and Jen, life saver). Congrats to you both, thanks so much for allowing me to be there!

Andy and Melissa were married up north at Frog Pond near Traverse City. We didn't have such great weather, but you know what...it didn't matter because these two were fun! I didn't have the chance to meet Melissa and Andy before the big day because they live in Oregon, they wanted a destination type wedding and Traverse City was a perfect backdrop for their day. I have to say, sometimes not meeting a couple beforehand makes me a little nervous...I guess it's just about the unexpected...but once I met them both there were no more nerves. We were so comfortable together and let me tell you the bridal party was Hilarious. At one point everyone busted out in a Pee Wee Herman laugh, which made me laugh, Carolina was cracking up...we were all laughing so hard I have no idea how I managed to get those pictures in focus. Whew, good times :) Despite the crazy weather these two were laid back and ready for a fun day! Thanks guys for sharing it with me.

Alana and Justin had a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary's Cathedral in East Lansing, and the reception at the Kellogg Center on the MSU campus. Shout out to Corinne from Sebesta Design for her fab florals, beautiful work. I had the pleasure of doing Alana and Justin's engagement session just a few weeks before their wedding day, so I honestly felt like I was seeing old friends again. I know I sound like a broken record when I say that my couples are kindhearted, fun people...but I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it and Alana and Justin were exactly that. Their families were so sweet, their friends were so fun, Alana and Justin are wonderful. And honestly, the weather on their wedding day was the pits...it POURED rain alllll day. They gave me a photographer's dream schedule...hours to shoot fun pictures...and of course it POURED with no let up in sight. But... that made us get creative...kudos to the bridal party. They racked their brains trying to think of cool spots to go where we wouldn't get soaked. Justin found this classroom on the Michigan State campus so we borrowed it and I loved it! I have to say it worked out for good :)

Sarah and Bill had a very sophisticated wedding in Chicago this past weekend. I just got back from my Chicago trip for an inspiring workshop and a fab wedding (hence the reason for my email delays)...sorry. I grew up in Chicago and deep down in my heart I miss it so much. Anytime I have the chance to go back and I just feel a little longing to move back...even though I do love Grand Rapids...it's just no Chicago. When Sarah and Bill booked me to do their Chicago wedding I was thrilled...I don't need much of an excuse to go back to Chicago...and a wedding is a really good excuse. Sarah looked AWESOME! Sassy, sexy, stunning! I LOVE a good birdcage veil... if I could go back and get married again I would so do a birdcage veil. When I shoot brides with them I have a little jealousy...can't lie.

Rachel and Jared are engaged!

Meet Jared and Rachel, two very kind, sweet, and genuinely in love people. They both have such a heart for God and I just feel so blessed when I have the opportunity to serve people that live and work for God in such incredible ways. We had an a very fun session, these two were absolutely comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and so full of energy. I really didn't have to do anything but just keep up, I loved it!! Rachel contacted me 2 days after getting engaged , she had 1 week to plan a wedding, book a photographer, and do an engagement session before she left for her year long mission trip in Honduras. Talk about ambitious, but what was so cool about our timeline was that the all the emotions and excitement involved in recently getting engaged was so fresh and present during our session. Jared proposed during a private plan ride so we definitely had to do a few pictures in the air plane hangar. Thank you so much to you both, it was a pleasure. I am so blessed to have crossed paths with you and I know your wedding will be just as fun and exciting!

We met at Grand Haven a few weeks back for a great summer shoot on Michigan's gorgeous lakefront. I take for granted how close I live to beach and how easy it is to drive over for an afternoon stroll along the shoreline . As we were shooting I was just thinking about how long it's been since I've wandered the pier at Grand Haven with my husband by my side. Strolling along the pier, hand in hand with your one true love, watching the sun fall behind the water line....it's so peaceful and romantic. I was thrilled to be a part of that experience for Alana and Justin. Unfortunately summertime in Grand Haven is a bit chaotic so parking a fighting for good shooting spots without 10 people wandering through the background was a challenge. Alana and Justin are kindhearted people so we laughed together at slightly chaotic moments and made the most of their romantic evening at the beach. What a fun night, thank you both for a great shoot!

Jessica and Dan came all the way from Virgina for their shoot, and of course it turned out to be one of the hottest most humid days of the summer, seriously it was about 100 degrees. You guys were good troopers, we were all sweating ten minutes into the shoot, but after a few air conditioner breaks we made it through. Despite the heat you both did such a great job, you are a stunning couple, looking forward to the wedding :)

Brooke and Matt are such a fun couple! We met up with them at a park in Holland, and came prepared with for the bugs...I know how romantic is bug spray. Despite the heat, the bugs, and feeling sticky and stinky from bug spray Matt and Brooke were such great sports and absolutely in love. We ended at the beach to catch the sunset--so romantic! Thank you, Brooke and Matt, for a wonderful shoot, for putting up with bugs and sweltering heat, and for patiently waiting for you blog post :)

This post is so long over due!! ..in fact they were just married Saturday so congrats to you both! To celebrate here's some favs of their engagement session on a warm summer evening in the country. I have been DYING to do a romantic country session and I owe so much thanks to my mother-in-law who is so sweet and wonderful. She lives in the country and I am forever asking her if she's seen any cool spots, she did her homework and we found some beautiful property that, come to find out, has been in the family for a long time. Who knew this spot was so close for so long, thanks Joe and Lauren for being on board. You both are so cool, fun, laid back and just awesome. I'm so grateful to have met you and been a part of such a special time in your life! Another special thanks to my girl, Regina for coming along and doing the hard work carrying my junk :) Love you too!

I was sooo excited when Phrené approached me to shoot this wonderful engagement party for Alyssa and Kevin! I had the pleasure to shoot at the Lena Meijer House at the Fredrick Meijer Gardens, talk about eye candy everywhere!! There were beautiful decorations on every table provided by Modern Day Floral and the talented Sweet J Band entertained throughout the evening . Oh my goodness!!! It has been way too long since my last post, my sincere apologies. It has been such a wonderful and busy summer, I can't believe it's July already. I promise that I have a really good reason for my absence, I have such exciting news...you may have already heard the rumors..but if not I promise I will be sharing the details very soon. Here is just a small preview of what I've been up to since my last post. I have had such an incredible honor to photograph so many adorable, kind, and genuinely in love couples! I may sound like a broken record but the truth is that I couldn't ask for better weddings. Every single wedding has been so beautiful and fun, and every couple has been not only so obviously in love but kindhearted souls that were truly a joy to photograph. It's such a shame I've been so behind in sharing all of their eye candy!!
Stephanie and Curt were just married this last Friday at the beautiful newly renovated Stonewater Country Club. Seriously, this was an exquisite event and Stephanie and Curt were such a delightful couple. Love and newly married excitement radiated from them throughout the entire day. Congrats to you both, you were such a pleasure to photograph. Thank you so much for sharing your day with me!

Caroline and Matt were married the last weekend in June, right on the shoreline at a beautiful private residence in Holland. It was one of those weddings where I just found myself caught up in such fun conversation with both Caroline and Matt that it was hard to leave for the evening. It was a pleasure getting to know you both, thank you letting me capture your special day!

Where do I begin with Amy and Wes?!! Amy is such a sweet person, we met a few years back during my first year in business as a wedding photographer. Amy was one of the bridesmaids, and after the wedding Amy sent me the most kind and encouraging email. Her words literally brought me to tears, I still have that email and even today brings such an overwhelming sense of encouragement. Amy, you have no idea how wonderful it was to receive that email, at the time I was so new in the industry and still trying to find myself and my niche. I appreciate you more then you will ever know! It was a few years later that Amy found herself engaged and planning her own wedding, I was so excited to hear from her again! I was incredibly flattered that Amy booked me with such confidence and certainty that I was the right photographer for her and Wes. They had a beautiful day, with an INCREDIBLY fun party at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion MI with the most INCREDIBLY talented band, Dave Bennett. Amy is a music teacher in Arizona, so music was definitely a highlight throughout the day with such talented musicians, I can't wait to share more of those images!

Kelly and Jeff had a gorgeous ceremony in Kindelberger Park in Parchment, MI and enjoyed an elegant evening with dinner and dancing at The Fountains. Their day was full of so much genuine emotion, fun people, and real joy! I was in tears during the speeches!! I had the pleasure of getting to know them during our engagement shoot last summer, I love being able to connect with a couple before the big day. I was so excited to see them again and be a part of what they've spent so much time and effort planning over the last year. Congrats to you both, Jeff and Kelly. You had a beautiful wedding...the crazy storms held off until late and the day turned out perfect. Thank you for having me, honestly you both made me feel so comfortable and as if I was part of the group, Congrats to you!

Lindsey and Josh are adorable, they booked me almost two years ago and Lindsey was sooo excited to be working with me. I have to say the feeling was definitely mutual! Thank you so much for having such trust and confidence in me, for giving me full artistic license, and having such passion for your wedding photography! They had a gorgeous ceremony and reception at Nikos Landing in Comstock MI. This was yet again one of those weddings where I found myself putting the camera away at the end of the evening and just hanging. That level of comfort and connection it truly a pleasure. Congratulations newly weds!

I'm really not good at writing or sharing much on a personal level, the truth is that I'm kinda shy and a little nervous about sharing. I don't even know if most people actually read photography blogs...we all know you come for the pictures right? ...but I have felt directed into sharing a little about my story and journey as a wedding photographer especially with some of the new exciting things that have happened. Yes, it is exciting to share news such as getting featured on a cover, but I really feel it's important to give credit where due and share where I've come from to understand why this is such a special accomplishment. This really has been such a incredible journey, sometimes I have to pinch myself just to check and make sure it's all real. I believe that my experiences these last few years are such a strong testimony of God's personal love. In the beginning of this whole journey I struggled with trusting and following God, but I kept my faith in him, I prayed a lot, and confessed my struggles. In return he blessed me far beyond anything I could have imagined for myself. It wasn't long ago that I was working at Home Depot, stressing through college, living on macaroni and cheese, and just hoping and praying that someday I would finally graduate with my photography degree and find a job, any job, just not Home Depot. No offense Home Depot, you were good to me, you paid my tuition and kept a roof over my head, but through those long seven years I had dreams and hopes of doing something more, something I loved, something I have worked so hard and so long for....photography. Sometimes when you are in that moment of just wanting something else, or wanting to be somewhere else, wanting to do something else, it is so hard to see God working. I didn't trust him, I didn't think he heard my prayers, or that he even cared about my ambitions or career dreams. After I graduated I felt like all of my peers moved on so quickly to new and excited careers, successful, happy, doing what they loved... and here I was still at Home Depot....honestly I felt like a college graduate loser. I can't deny it, that horrible soul rotting emotion of envy consumed me. I couldn't see God working and frankly I didn't want to, I was so consumed with disappointment and jealousy in my own situation that I didn't try to see what God was doing. At that moment I was a college graduate, still working at Home Depot, hating my job, wanting and wishing to have something else, jealous of my successful working photographer friends, and just plain unhappy. "Why not me, God, why not me, why can't I be doing what I love, why can't I feel successful, why did I go to school just to end up at Home Depot forever". Looking back all I can do is just shake my head at myself. I had just graduated, I was newly engaged, planning my own wedding, and starting my business. God had amazing things planned for me but I was too consumed by everything and everyone else that I just couldn't see his plan and what he was doing in my life. Thankfully I had my husband (fiance at the time) to bring me back to earth, "Phrene" he said, "be thankful for where you are what you are doing right now. You need to enjoy your OWN wedding and be grateful that you have a job. God didn't bring you all the way to Kendall and through school, just to abandon you and leave you at Home Depot forever." As hard as it was to hear that, he was right. I just needed to be content with me, and where I was, and what God was doing and TRUST him. So I continued working the job I hated, and began my business with big hopes and few dreams, but expecting to be disappointed because, me, the worrier and pessimist, just knew years later I would still be at Home Depot and struggling to be a successful wedding photographer, my dreams and ambitions dashed to pieces.

At the time my biggest dream was just to get a website up, find brides who loved my work (which when you are a nobody is not easy), and maybe, just maybe get an image or two featured somewhere amongst the pages of any bridal magazine. I figured those dreams would be challenge enough, so I worked hard and prayed a lot. I asked God to direct me, give me wisdom in running a business, help me see where he was taking me, and most of all stop worrying and trust him.

Fast forward just a year to March 2009, for some reason God blessed me (times a thousand) with 30 weddings on the calendar... then I got the incredible news. "Congrats" the email said, "we have chosen one of your images to be featured on our cover of the Lansing Bride magazine 2009 issue". What! You are kidding me, I didn't believe it. I thought I'd get a phone call at any minute saying, "sorry we made a mistake it wasn't actually your image after all."

At that moment I knew it in my heart, God was telling me it was time to quit Home Depot and make the leap into being a full time photographer. "But what if I don't stay busy enough, what if I don't make enough money to pay the bills, what if, what if, what if."

I could hear God, he said it simply and clearly, "trust me Phrené". I remember that even now, I have to repeat it to myself when I start worrying or stressing about life, business, work, anything...."Phrené, trust me".

Today, I am so honored to say that I have received 3 covers just in this last year, my work has been featured and used for a variety of events and promotions, I have a full featured wedding spread in the GR Magazine, and an amazing array of brides who put their trust in me with the incredible honor of capturing their special day... all of this in one year. That feels amazing, but what is really amazing is where God has brought me. Two years ago this was not my world, the idea of a cover was one of those laughable dreams where you think, yeah that would be awesome but it will never happen to me. Despite my doubts, my worry, my struggles, God has showed his grace and love. He has provided and blessed me more then I could have ever imagined. I can't thank him enough, or thank my amazing clients. I feel that any and all accomplishments really must go to you...family, friends, fans, clients, blog readers that love and share my work...you have all been an answer to prayer and my dreams come true, thank you. I can only hope that God has more amazing things in store and that he continues to help me grow as a photographer, a business owner, a wife, a woman.

Katie and Joe are engaged!

A while back....yes, sorry guys I'm not on top of blogging yet. Anyways, a while back I had the opportunity to shoot Katie and Joe for their engagement session. I was so excited because I had all these fun ideas to try, the forecast was great, which for Michigan in early May is a super big plus...what could go wrong. Wouldn't you know, literally 5 minutes before we started shooting the skies darkened, the rain started spitting, the temperature dropped, and the wind picked up, seriously picked up. Sometimes you just have to love Michigan's spontaneity... it keeps me on me toes :) Regardless, Katie and Joe were great, we rolled with the weather and turned out a fab shoot. I'm so fortunate to have a mom whose LOVES finding fun new props and taking any shopping challenge I throw her way...love you mommy! Last summer I sent her on a mission to find these vintage frames, I had a vision of apple blossoms and vintage frames so I was dying to finally get the chance to try it. Thanks guys for working with my vision and nailing it! Though the weather didn't work out like we had expected, we really got cool rain clouds and such beautiful color that last few minutes of sun peeking out before sunset. Thanks so much, you guys did so great and are so cute together, it's going to be a great wedding.

Wow! It has already been such an incredible wedding season, here's a small sneak of what I've been up to these last few weeks.

Tina and Chad had beautiful wedding (despite the seriously crazy weather) on May 8th in an apple orchard. Spring blossoms came so early this year I was a little nervous that they'd be gone by the time Tina and Chad were married, luckily we found these last few trees still blooming full of that spring goodness. Congrats Tina and Chad, seriously you guys are rockstars. You stuck it out with smiles on your faces despite what we all know was the WORST day in May. Thank you! from the bottom of my heart. You made the day magic :)

Brent and Lauren were married on May 15th, downtown on a gorgeous day with so many awesome vendors, fun friends, and loving family by their side. Congrats to you both! You are such an adorable and beautiful couple. I have sooo many favorites from your big day I can't wait to post more :)
Meghan and Scott are another fab couple married this past weekend, May 22nd. Meghan is a friend close to my heart, she is my hair diva and I feel like I've been so close to her over these last few years as she's gone from a girlfriend eagerly anticipated that shiny diamond ring, to the busy bride-to-be planning her big day, and now the newly married wife. We spent so many hours chatting away about this big day during my salon visits, I couldn't wait to see everything come to fruition. Congrats guys, I hope you're enjoying the honeymoon!

Let me introduce you to Sarah and Bill. I am so excited to head over to Chicago late this summer for their wedding! I grew up in Chicago and I've always wanted to go back, what better reason to head back then for their fab September wedding! Sarah and Bill are so much fun, and were as excited as I was to go to the carnival for their engagement session. I have to say I'm pretty proud of this shot, but you would have had to been their to know why. Firstly, Sarah is not a fan of heights (which I didn't know until too late ...sorry Sarah... thanks for humoring me) Secondly I'm dangling over the edge of the ferris wheel cart trying to get a shot as it's spinning around, Carolina is holding my feet in a panic (she too is afraid of heights), while the wind is whipping us around. It was chaotic, scary, and fun!!! I know I'm a crazy dare devil...but it's in the name of a photo :)

A few weeks back I went out for a fun engagement shoot with Jenna and Mitch. I have to give these two some MAJOR props! They were so cute and fun together, up for my crazy ideas...like crawling over broken rubble to shoot in a dark alley where a we found a bed made from old couch cushions and boxes...sad and scary. Then we trekked out to the beach where the temperature were 40 degrees with whipping winds that felt like needles scratching across the face. Needless to say weather was certainly not ideal for a sunset beach shoot, but they did an amazing job looking warm and having fun. We even managed to get a peak of sun at the end...enjoy your sneak peek! Many blessings to you both in your marital journey together.

Meet Kennedy and Logan, so cute, funny, and precious! I've known these two since they were bumps in mom's tummy. This was a really special session because I've known Kennedy and Logans' parents, Steve and Alyssa, from the early years. I knew them before they met to the day they exchanged their vows, and now the birth of their little family. When Steve called me to do a session as a birthday surprise for Alyssa, I was so honored and excited to photograph these little ones....although I'm starting to feel old because it seems like not long ago they were tiny babies...where does the time go? Steve, major props to you! I admit sometimes I have these ideas of grandeur...dirty downtown buildings, bright colors, and lollipops. Having no children of my own yet, I don't clean up kid messes everyday so while the idea of a downtown session with lollipops sounded fantastic, I quickly realized their was an aftermath mess of lollipop goo, then dirt stuck into the lollipop goo, and then dirt stuck into the lollipop goo smeared all over shirts, pants, shoes...you get the picture. EEEK....love you guys! Thanks for letting me get them all sugared, silly, and smeared...then send them home with you :) Here's some of my favs.

Associate Photographer Carolina!

I'm very excited to announce a new addition to the Phrené - Exquisite Photography company, my associate photographer, Carolina! Carolina and I go back to our days in college when we were stressing and losing sleep over our many photo projects, term papers, and class critiques. We found ourselves critiquing and working together in our photography classes so a few years later it seem so natural to starting working together professionally. She's become a great friend and a wonderful photographer and I'm happy to share that she is available for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Check our her gallery of work here.

I thought it would be fun for us to go out and do a little photoshoot, we are fun crazy girls and we don't need a better reason to do a photoshoot! As you can see she didn't have a problem working it out for the camera :) I thought you should all get to know her better so we also did a fun little interview session, here's Carolina in a nutshell...

How would you describe your personality? Who is Carolina? :) hahaha we are so cheesy

I'd say I'm a little shy, but when I say that my friends bust out laughing. Probably because I love joking around and it's easy for me to get comfortable with people quickly. My friends always say I have a bit of a Latina attitude...like I'm always quick to have a wise crack back. I'm proud of being a Latina woman, I feel like being so close to my family is such an important aspect of my heritage and personality. It keeps me grounded, keeps my values strong, and my priorities straight. Because I have such a strong and genuine relationship with my family I seek to have the same kind of relationships with other people I encounter...and in my photography it helps me to recognize and capture those type of connections I see in others around me.

What do you like about shooting weddings?

I love working and photographing people, the atmosphere of weddings are fun, I love seeing family and friends coming together and celebrating...it's cute...and emotional...I'm girl what do you expect? Plus, fashion!! Brides are beautiful models, they look awesome and should feel awesome even just for this one special day. I started off not knowing much about weddings until I started working with you...Phrené. Before I started shooting weddings, I thought wedding photography was about those typical family photos in front of the church. I didn't realize that the photographer was such an integral part of a wedding. I thought we were seen as more of a nuisance dodging through the guests as they party the night away, now I realize that having a professional photographer there to archive those priceless memories is so important. You helped me see the infinite possibilites with weddings, weddings incorporate so many different types of photography... fashion, jewelry, food, portraits, documentary and photography aside just connecting with people.

What gave you that preconceived notion wedding photography was about "typical wedding photos in front of the church"?

I guess it's from weddings that I went to as a kid or past wedding photos I saw of family and friends. I think the modern bride looks for something more unique, fitting her own personality and style. Now with website portfolios and the internet people invest a lot of time and energy into researching the perfect photographer.

How would you describe your photography style?

I like making things pretty...that's sounds simple but it's true. Pretty makes people (brides) happy, I want to make something beautiful and interesting to look at but I also want my subjects to connect on a personal level with their photos, but even further I want to capture the personal connection, emotions, and relationships of the people and events going on around me at weddings.

Aside from wedding photography, are their other photography things you enjoy?

Most weekdays you'll find me at WMCAT downtown GR teaching high-school kids how to appreciate photography. They get to experience traditional black and white photography but also high end studio lighting, photoshop...the whole shebang. After college I missed being in the darkroom and it's been fun getting back into traditional style darkroom work.

I really love pin hole cameras, they are so simple yet the results of the image can be incredibly creative....not much use for pin hole cameras at weddings...ha oh well. Maybe a new adventure for the future right?!...or not. Don't worry I won't show up to your wedding with a pin hole camera oatmeal box!

Anything else we should know about you?

I can't wait for the new Sex in the City movie!!!

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of traveling to the other side of the state to shoot Mike and Cindy's winter wonderland wedding. What a fun weekend!! I met Mike and Cindy this past fall for a fun engagement shoot with their pup Ruby, we had a blast and I couldn't wait to see them again. Sometimes you just click with a couple, Mike and Cindy were that couple for me. Weddings are so extra amazing when you feel so comfortable with everyone involved and in return they feel just and comfortable and trusting of you. Suzi and Steve are Married!

My first wedding for 2010, wow where did the time go? Suzi and Steve were married on January 2, in Kalamazoo, MI on one of THE coldest days of the winter so far, yikes! We began the day getting ready at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo then made our way to a beautiful evening ceremony at the Kalamazoo First Assembly Church and finished the night with an elegant dinner at the Kalamazoo Country Club. The place was still decked out with a beautiful Christmas tree and twinkles lights galore, loved it!

Despite the sub zero temps we managed to rock out all the pictures inside where is was warm and toasty, not that is was hard. Suzi was such a gorgeous bride!

Suzi and Steve, you two were such a sweet and loving couple. Thank you so much for choosing me to share your special day. May God bless you and keep you safe as the military takes you both to London.

An extra special thanks to my dear friend Melissa for coming along for the day. It was so great to have you along, after second shooting with you back in my early days it was great to team up again!

I'm back!! Yes, it's true I've been on quite a lengthy hiatus from blogging. Not because I had nothing to blog, quite the opposite. I found myself so engulfed with editing and shooting that something had to give, it happened to be my blog. I'm excited to say that I'm finally caught up on all my 2009 editing and ready to go for 2010. It's been such an amazing year with so many personal and professional accomplishments. 2009 was a year of incredible growth and I have to say a special thank you to all my 2009 brides and clients. You are the reason I am going strong and growing rapidly. Thank you for your support, encouraging words, and willingness to share my work with others. Your response of excitement and sentiment when you get your photographs is the real reward in what I do.

It's hard to believe it's already 2010 and that I've already shot my first 2010 wedding! I love winter weddings, especially Christmas weddings. There is something so incredibly majestic about Christmas decor and twinkle lights, particularly at night. Soooo excited to share the news!!! I recently received my box of Kalamazoo Bride magazines, opened the box, and giggled like a little girl to find one of my recent brides on the COVER! Dionna was such a beautiful bride, there's no doubt in my mind why they chose her for their cover. I give her all the credit, all I had to do was push the button, she did all the rest. The beautiful bouquet was done by the equally awesome Sebesta Designs. Corrine is fabulous and her designs reflect the exquisite quality and creativity that is Sebesta. I'd highly recommend her for the creative and discerning bride.

This is my second bridal magazine cover within the year, to be honest it feels a little surreal. I am incredibly flattered that my work was chosen, thank you again to Jake and Kelly at GRB Ventures Publication. These magazines are such a great resource for brides, in fact I found them so useful when I was planning my own wedding a few years back. Lauren and Brent are Engaged!!!

So excited to share this session! This is Lauren and Brent, they will be married in May 2010...I'm partial to May myself :) I have to be honest and say that I am incredibly flattered that Lauren and Brent chose me to photograph them. I am always flattered when anyone chooses me as their photographer, however, Lauren works for the always stunning Modern Day Floral. She interacts with TONS of fabulous photographers everyday and could have chosen any one of them, but they chose me! So thanks guys, it really is an extra special compliment to me...and maybe just a little bit more pressure :) We met at Robinette's Apple Orchard for our shoot right around the time of year when the leaves were just beginning change color and the apples were ripe and colorful...beautiful absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, Michigan weather is not always willing to cooperate. We had our session scheduled and then rescheduled and we managed to finally get the ONE day in the month without rain....and a smidge of sun, for about 5 minutes...but despite the weather obstacles we had a wonderful session. Lauren and Brent were fun, silly, kind, and very much in love. Thanks guys for a great shoot, looking forward to your big day...May will be here faster than you know it!

Becky and Devin are Engaged!

Meet Becky and Devin, they are one of my fabulous July 2010 couples. A few weeks back we went out for an exciting engagement shoot. I always get excited to do photoshoots but I was extra excited because Becky and Devin wanted a little of everything, a little downtown a little country. Hey, I want my cake and eat it too :) so this was perfect, plus I love trying out new fun spots I find. I saw this patch of tall grass..okay weeds... and thought ahhh perfect!!! Becky and Devin were such a delight, they were up for whatever. We had fun and they both did such an amazing job. I know it's hard to make out in front of a camera but seriously you guys look awesome, you are one HOT and stylin' couple. I can't wait for your wedding!

Jenn and Rex are Married!!

I know what you are all thinking...yes it's true I have been absent from my blog for quite a while, but I promise it's been for a good cause. I have been focusing so hard on editing and staying on top of everything. I am truly truly blessed to be so busy, and I really feel it's so important to give my all to each and every client so alast my blog has fallen to the wayside. My New Years resolution is to get better at blogging!!

Jenn and Rex have been patiently awaiting their sneak peek so here you go Jenn!!

On Saturday September 12, Rex and Jenn were married in Holland, MI at the Holland Arts Council. The art on the wall was such a faboulous backdrop for Rex and Jenns elegant affair. The afternoon was a small and intimate wedding with just their closest friends and family. I loved every moment of their beautiful day. For starters Jenn and Rex are not only kind, fun, easy going people, but passionately in love and perfectly able to get lost in their love in front of the camera. For this reason I had soooo many awesome images of the two of them. I adore you both and I can't thank you enough for allowing me to share all of these precious moments with you.

Rex and Jenn opted for the "first reveal" before the ceremony. It's a personal and important decision for a couple to either see each other or not, but for Jenn and Rex it was awesome because we had plenty of time to hang out, enjoy the sunshine, and capture faboulous photographs

These little ballerina's danced in the evening light pouring through the windows, Rex's nieces are so adorable in their pink and blue tutus!.

Sunset on the beach, gorgeous and romantic! I highly recommend for brides planning a wedding near the beach.

HA, I had to include this. HILARIOUS! I was shooting away off in my photographer lala land and all of the sudden we came upon THE biggest and ickyest dead fish. I have no idea how I didn't see this before but thankfully both Jenn and Rex have a wonderful sense of humor. We all had a good laugh and then quickly moved down the beach to avoid the nastyness of the rotting fish...ewww! But I couldn't help but post this because Jenn's reaction was soo funny.
Thankfully it was worth it because I snagged these ... I say this a lot but sometimes you have no idea the "behind the scenes" of a photoshoot :)

Bill and Meg are Married! Sneakpeek

On Sept 5, 2009 over the Labor Day weekend Bill and Meg were married on a gorgeous day (seriously probably the best we've had all summer) at the Grand Volute in Lowell, MI. This was a wedding I was highly anticipating for numerous reasons. Bill and Meg are a sweet and fun couple and an absolute joy to work with from the first moment we mt. It was great to get to know each other a little before the big day during their engagement session, so I litereally felt like one of the guests throughout the whole day. Thank you so much Bill and Meg for having me be a part of your special day. Enjoy your little sneakpeek of some fun pics!

So Meg is flippin amazing, so beautiful so I couldn't help going crazy with her bridal portraits. I think I may have over done so sorry Meg I'm sure there was a point when you were like, okay seriously we are done right!

So Meg don't be mad but I HAD to include this part in the sneak peek. The DJ had Meg play a little game to find out just how well she knew her man. While blindfolded she had to guess which was her man's tush. Thankfully she guessed the right tush! ...and yes one of the contestants was from Scotland and wore his kilt...hilarious!But that wasn't all....next was Bill's turn to get blindfolded AND handcuffed. Also hilarious!

Nick and Lindsey are Married! Sneak peek

Nick and Lindsey were married at St. Alphonsus Church on August 29, 2009 on a blustery winter...I mean summer day. If you recall we had 50 degree temps, blowing wind, rain, rain, and more rain...oh well it was still fun. There is no possible way to not have fun with Nick and Lindsey. No spirits were dampened by the unusual "winter like" weather, smiles, laughter, and fun was felt throughout the day. I was so excited that Lindsey and Nick gave me so much time for couple pictures, so I had a hard time narrowing down for this sneak peek, you probably can't even call this a sneakpeek anymore, so for you Lindsey my beautiful blog fan and bride (and Nick too!) here is your sneak peek :)

The flowers were done by the always fabulous Modernday Floral, I figured it was high time to give them a little blog love of my own so here are some images of the fabulous flowers.

Brad and Angela are Married!! Sneak Peek

Since I am really far behind on my wedding blogs and I don't foresee being caught up soon I've decided to include more images for the sneakpeeks, so yay to the couples from this past weekend...you have more sneakpeeks to be excited about! Hopefully this is a new trend for me, I've really wanted to share all the marvelous people and places I've been shooting lately.

On August 28, 2009 Brad and Angela were married lakeside on Gun Lake at the Bay Pointe Inn ... simply gorgeous is all I can say! This is an awesome venue for a wedding and despite my disappointment in the lack of sun that evening (I had big plans for evening sunset pics) the day was splendid with many opportunities for gorgeous pictures. And of course it doesn't hurt when your bride is stunning, I've posted quite a few pictures of Angela because I just couldn't help it, she looked awesome! Brad...no offense...you looked great yourself but Angela was definitely the focal point of the day :)

Those of you that know me know I have an obsession with purple...seriously even my wedding ring is purple, needless to say I was psyched to have a purple wedding :) is that nerdy?...no nothing about purple is nerdy

These green apples lined the ceremony aisle, so simple and elegant. I thought it was perfect for a ring shot.This is Reily, she is Brad and Angela's adorable daughter and the flower girl...she liked the apples too. It kept her busy during the vows :)

Chris and Etta are Married! Sneak peek

First off I want to start this blog by saying thank you to all of my amazing clients. I know lately things have been a bit busy, I mentioned a lot about trying to catch up with my editing an apologizing for my lack of blogging but that all being said I want to say how much I love my job and how rewarding it is to have such wonderful clients. I don't even feel like I should call what I do a job, I don't wake up every morning and say sarcastically "great another day of work". I'm excited every single day to do what I love and for that I have to say thank you to all my clients who have made this possible. I have met so many awesome people, seriously it is truly such a blessing to be invited to share your special day. My clients invite me to be part of such an important celebration, I share all those special memories and moments with you from start to end and that is truly an honor. You guys have sent me the best emails, made the most encouraging comments, and I can't thank you enough for making this such a rewarding job. I cherish each and everyone of you!
So...to bring things full circle here is yet another of my amazing clients. Chris and Etta were married at the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church on August 22, 2009 with a beautiful reception following at the Egypt Valley Country Club. This was my first orthodox ceremony and it was really, really cool.
You guys were a blast to work with, you were up for anything and really just wanted great pictures so thank you for allowing me to be the photographer that I am and letting us feel so welcome on your special day. Here is a quick sneak peek of your pics!

Andrew and Reba are Engaged!!

A few weeks back......yep this blog post is wayyy over due...anyways a few weeks back I had the pleasure of shooting and engagement session for Andrew and Reba. They will be married in April in the beautiful Fountain St church, I am so excited. They are such an adorable and lovely couple, our session was a blast. When I told them I wanted to shoot downtown at night they said, "sure whatever you want". It's so awesome when clients tell you to do whatever you want, what trust! Sophie turns 4!!

First and formost I need to sincerely apologize for my blog failures. In the midst of the this crazy season I find myself neglecting my blog more and more. I hope to catch up at some point, I have so much to share! To start with my attempts to catch up here is a shoot I did quite a few weeks ago. This is Sophie, she just turned 4 and she is adorable! Sophie and I had a photoshoot last year for her 3rd birthday and when Emily emailed to schedule her 4th birthday shoot I said "already! it's been a year already!" Wow, time really does flyby! Sophie was such a pleasure to shoot and she LOVES the camera. I couldn't have asked for a better four year old! Thanks for letting me shoot you once again, I can't wait for next year now, I'm quite sure that her 5th birthday will come just as fast :)

Becky and Nick Day After Session

I was so incredibly excited to hear that Becky and Nick had decided to do the Day After Session. This session is so awesome for so many reasons, there's something so relaxing and calming about being through the wedding day...the vows are spoken, the party is over, it's all about the two of you now. You don't have to think about being on schedule, you don't have to worry about the guests waiting, you can go to any location your heart desires, you get more one on one time with me to WORK IT OUT, and of course ...hello...more SWEET PHOTOS...if I haven't sold you yet I'm quite sure these pics from Becky and Nicks' day after session will, they are SWEET! Thanks guys, seriously, I am so honored to be your photographer and in all honestly you are troopers for going out for a photo shoot the day after!

On July 25th, I had the pleasure of traveling up to the UP for a marvelous wedding in Sault St. Marie. I was so excited for this road trip because I have never been further than the Mackinac Bridge, so needless to say this was quite the adventure. As we travelled further and further north the weather got gloomier and colder. I wasn't sure what to expect but honestly I was rather excited to be shooting in a new place so I didn't really mind the weather. Becky told me she was getting umbrellas for the pictures so I was sure, despite the weather predictions, we would have a blast. It turned out to be such an awesome day for Becky and Nick, yes it rained a little, but it didn't cast any gloom on the joy and love present on this special occasion. In fact I kinda like the mood of the cloudy wet day! Here's a few sneak peeks from the day, more to come....eventually as soon as I manage to get caught up on my editing!

Joel and Fawn are Married! Sneak peek

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Joel and Fawn's beautiful wedding in Midland, MI. Originally we had plans to shoot some fun pictures in Midland's beautiful Dow Gardens, and we did for about 10 minutes until a downpour drenched us all, not so much fun. I felt so bad for the bridal party, and for Fawn as we raced back to take cover from the torrential rains. Well, we were soaked, BUT we still managed to get some fantastic photos. In fact, I almost think it worked out better because we left the gardens early and headed for the reception at the H Hotel. Turns out the H Hotel has some excellent photo spots, I found this perfect little corner with perfect white curtains diffusing the light, ahhh photo heaven. Granted we still got some sweet photos at the gardens, but I think these shots are my favorites so I'm posting these for the sneak peek. Now I know we are not all models, and we are not all aspiring to be models, but I think we can feel like a model for one day. I told Fawn she looked so awesome, like she came right out of bridal magazine. Fawn, I think there's a little natural model in there somewhere because you look like you came out of a bridal magazine here! Love it!
